The Reykjavik Airport Hotel is called the Aurora Star Airport Hotel. It’s a five minute walk from the Arrivals area of Reykjavik airport, which is officially known as Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport.
Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport is where almost all international flights to Iceland arrive and depart. (The official airport code is KEF).

Important note: Reykjavik has two airports
Almost all international tourist flights arrive and depart from Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport. (Airport code: KEF). There is actually a second, much smaller airport for domestic flights called Reykjavik airport (Airport code: REK). Quite why the Icelandic authorities didn’t call the main international airport Reykjavik Airport remains a mystery.
